Så er vi endelig blevet helt færdige med at høste. Godt nok har vi været færdige med at høste korn og raps afgrøderne siden begyndelsen af august. Det er hestebønnerne som trækker lidt ud. De høstes dog normalt senere end kornet - typisk 3-5 uger senere.
Som alle ved har vi haft en fantastisk juli med sol sol og atter sol, det har for os landmænd måske været en kende i overkanten, da vores afgrøder har lidt af vandmangel, hvilket har tvangsmodnet kornet og skåret toppen af udbytterne.
Men det har været fantastisk i den forstand at det har været is, og strandvejr.
Vi har kunnet nyde mange gode måltider i marken i år. Det har været en af de mindre stressende høstår end vi tidligere har oplevet.
Der har sågar været overskud til at lave lidt sjov - vi havde en god høstdag på Kildegård i Mintebjerg, hvor vi var nødt til at køre med tre vogne for at kunne følge med. Vi høstede over 50 ton/timen og afstanden var for lang til at to vogne kunne holde majetærskeren kørende. Efter aftensmaden stillede vi op til et HØST TEAM 2014 foto.
